Pour Over (V60) | Clean & Nuanced

The gold standard for clarity and complexity.

Pro - tips

  • The "Swirl": After your final pour, give the V60 a gentle swirl. This settles the grounds into a flat bed, ensuring even extraction.

  • Draw-down Time: If your water takes longer than 3:30 to drain, your grind is too fine. If it’s under 2:30, go finer.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Heat & Rinse

Boil water. Place the filter in the V60 and rinse thoroughly with hot water to remove paper taste and warm the dripper. Discard rinse water.

2. Add Coffee

Add 18g of medium-ground coffee. Gently tap to level the bed.

3. Bloom

Start your timer. Pour 40–50g of water evenly over the coffee to saturate all grounds. Allow to bloom for 30 seconds.

4. Main Pour

Pour slowly in circular motions from the center outward, avoiding the paper edges. Bring total water weight to 300g.

5. Drawdown

Allow the water to fully drain. Total brew time should finish between 2:30–3:00 minutes.

6. Swirl & Serve

Give the dripper a gentle swirl before removing. Serve immediately and enjoy.
